Consulted for: Epilepsy, Behavioural Issues
My initial reason was to see if Cyena could help with my daughter’s epilepsy or even if she could assist with the behavioural difficulties.
The result is that Harper has gone from 10-12 seizures a day to 4-8 per week. Not only has the amount decreased but the severity of the seizures has gotten so much milder. Her brain now has a much better capacity to learn because of it.
I went into it with no expectations as we have tried so many things before and have been really disappointed when they didn’t work. This has worked better than I ever could have imagined.
Harper also has Global Development Delay and I believe that this is due to the seizures stopping her brain development and affecting her memory. Now that the seizures have decreased dramatically Harper is learning at a much greater speed, is talking really well and has a much better understanding of concepts overall.
Cyena cared deeply about Harper and continuously checked in on us to see how everything was going. Harper’s situation was quite complex and Cyena was so great and patient in asking questions and reassessing the situation to provide Harper the best treatment possible.

My then 6-year old son was having difficulties with strong emotions. His father passed away suddenly just over two years earlier and I started dating a new man who has four daughters. While he loved being around the girls there was a lot of difficulty with jealousy and lashing out both physically and with words.
At the start (of using the homeopathic preparations) a lot of stored feelings from his father’s death came out; he had previously said very little about the event. Then feelings of jealousy and concern that I would love the girls more than him surfaced. As we went along with (homeopathic) doses, the jealousy and hitting / kicking gradually reduced and now he rarely reacts in that way unless tired. We did take a step backwards with sleep; he did not want to be away from me so went back to sleeping in my room, but in the last week he is again back in his room and usually will resettle back in there if he wakes at night. While initially very excited about my new partner I felt he quickly put a wall up with him. Recently he has noticeably relaxed with him and is quite affectionate at times. Just last night he said he wants to call him Dad, as that sounds better than his actual name. He is a much happier boy settling into a new family rather than being distressed all the time. By finally acknowledging and grieving the loss of his father, he seems much more settled. Combining two families is already quite stressful but now he is calmer about the situation, it is making things so much easier.
Compared with other practitioners I have encountered, with Cyena there was so much more contact; less second guessing on my part as I can quickly text and check. Not having to drive to an appointment at a certain time was great. We are up early so being able to have early phone consults has been wonderful. I'd had a hip replacement 10 months prior to contacting Cyena. The hip had been bad for 7/8 years and my work had always taken priority (I teach Ballet and Musical Theatre) but the last year and a half brought chronic pain and resulted in my body being badly out of alignment. In the last three years I'd also divorced and passed on my business to come to Australia to start all over again. Lots of bereavement! I have been on my healing path for many years and had done a lot of work on the mental and emotional. Unfortunately the physical body was broken and the only option was surgery.
I arrived in Australia in September at my son's kind invitation and had been giving myself time to recover and heal. I did my exercise program and worked on losing weight but the secondary pains were so crippling that I could hardly walk.
Knee pain (had keyhole surgery 13 years earlier and the same knee was flaring up again)
Achilles pain (again an old ailment)
Heels (both heels unbearable pain)
Chronic pain in all ligaments and tendons

My hip replacement was perfect but everything else was screaming!
I was also very aware of all the mainstream medication I'd taken, especially at the operation and post op, and what it was doing to me. With the pains I was experiencing I found myself reaching for Ibuprofen and Paracetamol again for relief.
My son and his family, knowing that I’d been convalescing with for now nine months, suggested Cyena and the homeopathic route for my recovery. The family use only homeopathy. And so I began my journey with Cyena.
Initially my experience was horrendous with illness; back pains and leg spasms that attacked as soon as I sat down to rest or go to bed! Luckily this lasted only a few days. But after only a month on the remedies I was amazed! The chronic pain was at least 90% better! After 3 months (of homeopathic management) I had no pain in my Achilles or heel. I still had bad and good days and discovered my pain was also greatly influenced by my moods / emotions and also if I over did it e.g. walking, standing. I do know my recovery is an ongoing process; after all, my body was out of alignment and for such a long time through trying to protect my bad hip! After a month working with Cyena I knew this was not going to be a quick fix. I needed to accept and take responsibility for all my years of abuse on my physical body and realise it was going to take time and commitment, unconditional love and patience to bring my body back to its optimum.
I feel like the remedies go deep into different layers like "peeling an onion". Aches and pains come to the surface to be healed and then they go. Some are more stubborn!!The results have been astounding and all without the use of pharmaceutical medicine! With conventional medicine you have a pretty quick fix but the price to be paid is very high. I'd already experienced the side effects of orthodox medicine. It could create a minefield of problems.
Little by little I see improvements that anyone else would take for granted. All the little things like playing with the grandchildren, getting up and down from sitting in a chair or from sitting on the floor, being able to sleep in any position, being able to get in and out of a ute quickly and easily! But especially being able to walk almost pain free! To complete a 30 minute walk with minimal side effects? WOW! I have belief, faith and trust in a full recovery! All this with the added bonus that I know my body is being given the chance to heal itself without invasive and destroying medicines.
Cyena was there for me! She was always just a phone call away. She was supportive, caring, informative and patient. Every detail mattered for my recovery. Every level of my wellbeing was important - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. This was important to me as I know how they are all connected and so many "doctors" etc don't get this. My 2-year old son's behaviour became quite physically aggressive (hitting, kicking, scratching and drawing blood) and nasty when he was usually a kind, gentle toddler. He would also have a tantrum about anything and everything.
We noticed an improvement in his behaviour within a couple of months after commencing with the homeopathic preparations and the natural supplements that Cyena recommended. The childcare has also commented on how much more well-behaved my son was. I definitely have to say that the results exceeded my expectations as I was wondering if anything was going to help! My name is Ellen. I am a mother to five beautiful children, three of them biological. My journey so far on this Earth has been a very challenging but a very rewarding one.
In May 2009 I found out I was pregnant; this was an unplanned and unexpected pregnancy. I felt an array of emotions. My two previous pregnancies, births and first twelve months were the most challenging periods of my life. Areas of my life and influences were displaced and unstable. My first birth took around thirty hours and ended with an emergency caesarean. I had much difficulty establishing a breastfeeding routine and suffered chronic postnatal depression for around twelve months after this birth. My second birth was an elective caesarean; I became ill after the birth, again suffered postnatal depression and had much difficulty breastfeeding.
They are now two healthy and beautiful children, who I am eternally grateful for. When I found out I was pregnant the third time with our now gorgeous son, I was completely overwhelmed primarily due to the deep, discarded emotions from my past. A past I had not accepted but pushed down, as deep and as far away as I possibly could; it all came flooding back in one moment. I knew however, this would be the last time I would ever receive such an amazing gift, the gift of experiencing pregnancy, of nurturing and loving a beautiful life unconditionally and bringing it into this world. So I took on the challenge, but I needed help along the way.
I have seen five different Homeopaths throughout my life, I had been seeing one for two years previously; I felt I needed something more. Cyena was recommended to me.

My daughter Angelina had some ringworm that was proving to be rather difficult to get rid of. Most of the topical treatments, tea tree and a broad spectrum anti-fungal, didn’t halt their growth nor contain the spread of new spots. They were itchy and annoying. She was covering up and wearing heavier clothes and was self-conscious about even her siblings seeing them. It was affecting her self-image. We also drew a parallel with her feeling a little attacked in her friendship groups.
After our initial consultation with Cyena, Angie’s response in the first week was minimal. Angelina and Cyena had a ‘one on one’ follow up consultation. Angelina seemed upbeat and said she enjoyed speaking about her skin with Cyena. The advice was that the homeopathic dose be increased in conjunction with particular hygiene instructions. Very quickly it was clear the body responded. Angelina had no new spots and most of the old spots disappeared. Her outlook was brighter and she was back to her positive playful self. As previously mentioned, Angelina’s demeanour had become sulky and reactive. By speaking with Cyena, and speaking her truth about her symptoms, Angelina could reflect and have ownership over the issues. It was less about what has happened to her and more about how she was in herself.
Speaking with Cyena and discussing Angelina’s symptoms in a holistic way also gave me insight in this busy life on just what was going on in her little world. That said, being in the natural health industry myself, I’m aware that sometimes I need to get onto things a little sooner, and not allow the condition to worsen before I do something about it!
