Girl Gatherings is a six-workshop series of Mother/Daughter workshops aimed at:

• De-mystifying the changes that occur in puberty and at the onset of menstruation

• Creating a safe space for conversation and connection about ‘girls business’

• Facilitating a deeper connections for girls with their mothers/grandmothers/guardians,
  their peers and other women in their community

• Empowering tween girls to understand and honour their physical and emotional development at this transitional time, fostering a positive body image
